The Nest offers a multi-cuisine restaurant plus beach-hut style accommodation and is situated right on Palolem Beach.

So who are we?

We are Mohan and Ellie. Mohan is the real backbone of the whole operation, he’s there morning ‘til night and is the driving force behind our success. He’s the face of The Nest, always there to help you out, get you a cold beer, whatever you’re after really! He heads up our fantastic team who have worked with us for years and really do feel like family.

I’m Ellie, Mohan’s wife and I’m quite happy to handle all the ‘behind the scenes’ stuff. While Mohan is taking care of our newest baby The Nest, I’m busy looking after our other baby, our young son Daniel.

What do we offer?

A beachfront restaurant with multi-cuisine menu. We offer breakfast, lunch and dinner along with an extensive drinks menu. Whether you fancy lobster with all the trimmings or just watching the sun go down from our chillout area with cocktail in hand, this is the place to be. We’ve also got 16 beach huts with sea view, all with verandas and hammocks so there’s really no excuse for missing the famous Palolem sunset!

Why visit us?

We know what you want! We’ve both travelled extensively and believe we understand what makes a place successful. Certainly we know what makes our place successful and that’s a combination of a reliable and efficient service in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We work hard to create this atmosphere which appeals to all age groups and believe this is why so many people come back year after year.

You won’t be able to avoid relaxing once you’re here; in fact Mohan makes it his mission to ensure everyone has a good time! He instinctively knows what you want and always remembers what you last ordered so you don’t even have to think if you don’t want to! I’ve lost count of the evenings we’ve pulled all the tables together and had everyone in the restaurant sitting together. Then if it turns into a late night and you fancy a lazy morning we’re always on hand to bring you breakfast in bed!

Within minutes of walking in to The Nest your backpack will be off, your feet will be up and you’ll have a drink in your hand. Come and see for yourself.
